The Horizons CIS Book Club meets 3 times/year. We spend 3 weeks reading and analyzing a book and most often see the movie after reading the book.

The Hate You Give was our 1st quarter book. In the Spring, we will most likely read 2 more books. After reading the book, our Book Club went to see the movie and before the movie we had pizza at Zachary's Pizza across from the Pleasant Hill movie theater

Students earn English credits by participating in the book club!
