After a bone-chilling weekend of reading scary stories and poems, the Horizons’ staff has decided on

the winners for our writing contest. The writing was so descriptive and full of suspense that it was very hard to pick just one. So, upon waking from a fitfull sleep of nightmares…three winners in each category were chosen.

Poems: Patience Andrews, Emily Levy, and Elisa Spooner.

Stories: Jessica Christie, Chance Finley, and Jessica Steggall.
