Horizons' Seniors!!!

Intererested in speaking at graduation?

At the Alternative High School Graduation, a student from each school may speak.  Here is your opportunity to speak before a large audience at the Sleep Train Pavilion.

1.  Write a speech.  Should be about 3 minutes long.  Topics could be:

What is our future?

How has Horizons helped you succeed?

What have you learned and/or what is important?

Advice to fellow students?

How should your people contribute to society?

(See your Horizons Teacher for examples)

2.  Read it out loud to yourself and make corrections (time it...3 minutes).

3.  Submit your speech in writing to Jill Curtin at curtinj@mdusd.org by May    25th.

The chosen speaker will be announced at the Graduation Dessert May 30th.

Please bring 2 dozen of your family "favorite cookie" to share.  CIS will provide lemonade and coffee.
